# Augmented reality on the horizon of large retailers

As the larger retailers such as Amazon and Walmart launch their proprietary AR (Augmented Reality) and try-on solutions, other retailers would rush to either develop or acquire AR technology. 

This places niche AR providers such as [MAYA](https://maya.shopping) in a sweet spot.  The market expands rapidly and we become the cynosure of the retail industry.
